Deforestation, global warming, pollution; the list will go on for a long time before stopping, these are the reasons we are facing hotter summers every year. 

Even a cold country like Canada was not spared this 2021. With all the heat going around it does no harm knowing some tricks to combat the heat.

Here are some tricks even you can follow:

Drink lots of water

Drink hot tea often

Drink a lot of juice

Drink cold lemonade

Have spicy curry

Wear loose fitting dress

Wear cotton

Cool your bed sheet

1. Drink lots of water

In heat your body loses a lot of water, which may lead to heat stroke. Drink a lot of water in a regular interval. If you are feeling weak after long exposure to direct sunlight, try to add some salt in the water. For with sweat your body is not only losing a lot of water but a lot of salt too. So make sure you are taking enough water and salt intake.

2. Drink hot tea often

It might seem absurd but drinking hot tea in hot weather can actually keep your body cool. Drinking hot tea will make your body sweat very fast and if you let it evaporate then that will make your skin cool off. Only do this trick when you are at home, as cooling in this way takes some time.

3. Drink a lot of juice

Drink a lot of juice. Juice will let your core cool. As computers need their core to be cool, so is for humans. It will not only keep your core cool but also provide you with needed vitamins to fight off potential diseases.

4. Drink cold lemonade

Well it was never needed to be said as we all know the allure of a few glasses of cold lemonade in the summer. Heck we can’t even imagine summer without cool fresh lemonade to make our days a paradise. It feels like you are on a vacation to a sea beach.

5. Have spicy curry

It is interesting to know that by upping the spice content in your curry can actually cool your inside and give the much needed relief in summer. So it’s time to up your spice content in your curry and more importantly it's time to experiment with all those spices that you have been avoiding.

6. Wear loose fitting dress

What you wear can make you comfortable or uncomfortable in summer. Loose fitting dress is the best, also try the low cut dresses if possible. But do wear formal clothing for formal occasions.

7. Wear cotton

Cotton is your best friend in summer. Try to look for 100% cotton and avoid low quality mixed cotton as they may look beautiful and comfortable but at the they can become your worst nightmare.

8. Cool your bed sheet

Now that's one cool hack, just fold your bed sheet and store in the freezer for 30 minutes before going to sleep. You will not be sleep deprived in bed. The cool sensation will be with you for hours. It’s a neat hack.

9. Stay indoor

Stay indoor if it’s not necessary to go outside, especially avoid the hottest period of the day if possible. Staying indoors will not only keep you cool but also away from covid.

10. Let the sweat evaporate

Sweat, the trouble in summer. You will sweat on every occasion. What if I tell you that it's also your salvation. Instead of wiping your sweat let it evaporate, it might feel uncomfortable but it will cool your outer body pretty fast. As the latent heat will be absorbed from your body you will feel the cold sensation of relief.
